If a suit is only something you will wear rarely, like once a year for weddings, it probably isn't worthwhile to buy. Shapes and styles change, your size may change, and before you're worn it 4 or times, it will fit like shit and look old.
Just go to a tuxedo place, and rent one. You'll have a new fresh one for every event, it will fit right, and you can get something that looks good without a lot of compromises.
