Nexa is modern, as is Clavo, but the g is (kind of) similar in Clavo.
Aparo is an elegant script with personality, as is Maestrale.It's hard to keep going without knowing the end use, but if it were me, I'd concentrate on wholly original letter forms not found in a typeface, then find an appropriate typeface that compliments your new, original letters, or vice versa. Find a typeface you find fitting then begin building a logo G or g from there to match your type.
