I just laugh at fanboyism in general (I mean every where, not the thread). Really?
I feel like it's 5th grade again and it's NES vs. Master System argument in the school yard. Please. There are 30 and 40 year old men arguing over a game system like their lives will be fundamentally changed when they launch, and it's live or die depending on the choice they make.At the end of the day, Sony did little but spin things. They DO still have DRM, but they are letting the publishers decide to implement. Do you really think ANY of the big games or studios won't do this? EA already did this gen with Online Pass.
So MS was more upfront, Sony used spin, and those who can't look past PR events have gone insane. At the end of the day, both systems will have DRM'd games, especially on the tier one titles, and for sure anything EA touches.
So everyone relax, and just buy the system that has the exclusives you prefer, and go outside once in a while (and not just because you had to board a plan to go to E3).
