- How tough was it to translate your 3D stuff to final product baseline_shift? Any notes on process?ideaist
- I found it was really tough to translate existing things into forms that can be 3d printed. I find its best to build models with the final print and it's scale in mind.baseline_shift
- models with the final print and scale in mind. So you need to account for minimum material thicknesses and 'watertight' meshes.baseline_shift
- 'watertight' meshes, etc. The printer i use, shapeways, has lots of documentation on this. http://www.shapeways…baseline_shift
- It was a process, though, and took lots of trial and error before i was able to build models that routinely passed preflights.baseline_shift
- REALLY nice detail!
