  I've never actually seen a tornado, but I was close enough for the sky to go black, heard the immense sound and watched baseball sized hail coming down. Drove through the debris field on the way home, all over the highway and in the trees. I was two exits from the tornado when it hit. That storm cell traveled from Kansas all the way to Tennessee with dozens of tornadoes.
