okay, one more thing, since you'll be on a trail, don't forget your own water bottle to fill up with fresh water or coca leaf tea. walking sticks are sold for like a buck and some coca leaves to chew on for the road!! not kidding. :) they help stabilize your heart rate and acclimate your body to the altitude. it also helps if you take a nap or rest your body for a few hours once you get to high altitude. gives your body a chance to get with it. or else you run the risk of altitude sickness, which i got there as well, :( it was hell, no other words can describe that. coca leaves are your best friend! :)
