Latest so far is that there was only one pistol between the two suspects, found at the scene of the first shootout. The hail of gunfire captured on home video the next day was directed at an unarmed person laying in a boat, without any attempt to clearly identify.
Additional: Prime suspect in ricin case released after held 6 days without bail. Anthrax case was never solved, prime suspect deceased. I can't help but remember Richard Jewel , security guard at the Atlanta Olympics, prime suspect on no evidence other than being the one who reported a suspicious package.
