I was trying to avoid, mainly because of the swirl, the following formulas:
1 - name inside a circle
2 - logo on the left of the company's name
3 - logo centered on top of the company's name
4- the above plus "RECORDS" with the same typeface but light and smaller, also centere
5 - logo to the right of the name
6 - hipster x logo
7 - I did a version of TINK! and a bar/stroke to the right with the extended name, like a lawyer company or something or a bank.
8 - symbol between wordsI don't know, after a week of sketches and ideas, i had a week of sending stuff for feedback and working around trying to avoid having a logo like i don't know how many.
In the end maybe if it's similar to others in the formula is not so bad.
Well, better than this anyway.I don't dislike the last one that much when compared to the others.
I was also a bit positive about the direction of the last one from the top four.But now i feel like i should start all over.
And he needs it for yesterday.
I should deliver it tomorrow.I have more work to do.
But if i tell him to forget this shit and this concept it might be a problem and I think he will freak out.I prefer not to take it forward if I'm not happy, but it's too much pressure now to deliver something when they're waiting for it to make t-shirts and edit another record.
