Somehow we have gotten so out of touch with destruction that we feel advanced technology is needed to bring nuclear devastation back to the people of this world.

some of us may still have grandparents alive and out of those some grandparents may have fought in WWII. Ask them if a computer was needed to fight the in the Invasion of Normandy, ask them if gps, mre or winterized clothing stopped the world from fighting 6 years and 60 million deaths.

people criticize No.Kor for having limited access to technology. 68 years ago, only using mechanical and molecular reaction, America brought destruction to a level that humanity has never seen. using technology that didn't require a operating system to function and a method that is known throughout the world.

today, people can't wait in line without a meme or bitching on facebook. people can't escape their "feelings" or eat without pulling out a cell phone. yet we dare and trivialize the level of destruction that a nuclear armament can cause; i find that the american zeitgeist has become a bit soft to the idea of death.
