South of Charlotte a ways, you can take in Gaffney's tribute to the gods. Some say they're offering up their peaches. Others say their offering up their asses. I suppose it just depends on what you're wanting to worship that day. Regardless, you can enjoy a bottle of peach cider there while you debate the matter with friends.
A little further south is an outlet. Back in Charlotte there's random stuff to do in the Dilworth, Elizabeth, and even Uptown. Head north toward China Grove to get some decent some decent BBQ.
