The question of proof is difficult though I reckon.
Would a video prove anything? If you believe there are people or others out there capable of staging mass news events like this, then why trust a video?
It would not be hard to fake a grainy black and white CCTV video with all the modern tools out there. The involvement of actors raises the possibility they could put on a real production.
Think of it another way...if the events were staged, wouldn't you expect the people staging them to produce a video? It's the easiest way to brainwash people into believing the event happened.
So no video...does it mean the event was not staged?
Then again maybe they are just fucking with you by not creating a fake video, because it's exactly what you expected them to do.
