ok here is a conspiracy... Tim Hortons jacked their prices up a little while ago and everything comes in at .03 or .73 etc so that the new rounding will always go UP to the nearest .5... which suggests they were given advance notice of the change and took advantage. They also are pushing the new Tims card in a big way. TIm Hortons is in fact in bed with the Canadian government, not a joke either.
