So tired of this whole 'war on Christmas' bullshit. Does it really surprise you that towns are restricting the public display of religious icons of Christmas? Populations are more culturally diverse than ever which is actually an amazing thing for all of us. But instead of embracing this difference and evolution of our society we've got the 'DON'T FUCKING TOUCH MY FUCKING MANGER!!' crowd. Sorry but Christmas isn't exclusively a religious holiday any more than Thanksgiving is a holiday for carnivores.
Humorous how you talk about atheists being 'angry' when it's people like you talking about war on this and on that. I did a search and I don't happen to see any threads from atheists who are pissed off about the presence of religious propaganda.. only you who's angry about the lack thereof. How about you fill your house with crosses, wild animals and people dressed up like wise men and let them sacrifice the baby, or whatever the fuck is supposed to happen at the nativity scene.
Just be happy, spend time with your friends and loved ones and build a god damned fucking manger in your own backyard.
