You and what army? Really. This whole bullshit libertarian thing revolves around that somehow, YOU, magical you, will be able to stand alone against society with your personal sense of integrity and hard work and receive the just return value of your labor. You know, because YOU are a special snowflake.
What ensures that you receive this magical "fruit of your labor" exactly? You know, because a thousand generations of serf and slaves across myriad civilizations would really have liked to know the magical fairy dust you use to produce that while standing there on your own just sort of proclaiming it. It's magical thinking.
Your power to gain the fruits of your labor are in direct proportion to your ability to wield power and influence that makes it worth the interests of everyone involved that you get exactly that. You either have the big guns or the numbers. This standing out on the frontier with your pea shooter and your bag of gold basically, historically speaking, gets you an unmarked grave.
