Just ask for a Johnnie Black on the rocks.
It's the 2nd cheapest Johnnie. It's good for the price. It's a blend, not a single malt, so you won't have to listen to some snob proclaim that you shouldn't dilute your whisky with ice. It's a no-nonsense high-quality whisky that everyone likes. Every bar has it, so that way no one finds out that you know little about whiskies.

- All JW is blended. I'm one of the rare scotch drinkers who will admit that this is ok. JW is great because it's easy to get everywhere.noneck
