On the point about the Clash.
Rolling Stones were even worse.
Terrible, terrible musicians. Posh white boys trying to play blues and failing miserably.
Other bands at the time did it much better...Led Zep: posh white boys playing blues very well. Likewise Cream. But not the Stones. I hate the Stones. And don't get me started on keith richards' non existent guitar skills.Why people even put them in the same sentence as the Beatles (amazing song writers and so influential) will always puzzle me
