Over the years I've taken the habit to falling asleep before take off. It's a way of putting myself in a mood where none of this is a big deal.
I do have a little fear inside though but I'm on the plane, meaning I somehow agreed to go somewhere or want to go there, at that point what happens is out of my hands and I refuse to worry about it until I have a reason to. Self-control, bitches!
