argh, all I can add is that we had to roll our own a few years ago, which was a HUGE mistake, as there were internal politics where we had to satisfy some really incompatible goals....
These days, there are a TON of cheap/free wordpress plugins that do this sort of thing, but the requirements can be unpredictable, especially when it comes to certain egos....
One oddball advantage of picking a cheap or free plugin, versus a custom or a customizable service is that it STOPS THE MOTHERFUCKING ENDLESS CHANGE REQUESTS!!!!!
