    it's amazing that we are talking about a phone and the concern here is how it will be allowed to take pictures in certain situations. crazy.

    but i see this more like another step onto the slippery slope that is our dependency on tech and how it's already beginning to control our daily lives. we have a love affair with it. and one day it will control so much of what we depend on that power moves by corporations will essentially be affecting what we do, see and say. they can assume control as they see fit and our best interests are not priority. we see this played out in lots of movies, minority report comes to mind.

    all these things to make life more convenient are slowly becoming the invisible prison that we are happily surrounding ourselves with and inviting in to our personal lives. it's all so new now most people just accept it, maybe one day everyone will smarten up tho.

    a small example, you may not realize but if ur on the facebook, there's a third party access setting that boils down to companies being allowed to use your face, your kid's face, any pic in your profile on targetted social ads within fb, to help sell their products to your friends and others. i had no idea about this, turned it off this morning.
