  I used to be able to Cmd-Click on a layer in my main window, and the it would select in in the Layers palette, regardless if it was in a folder or not. I seem to remember there was a setting I had to select to do this. Now with CS6, it's back to Cmd-Clicking a layer and it's parent folder is selected, not the layer. Any ideas where this setting is?

  • With the Move tool (V) selected, change the auto-select dropdown (below main menu but above the toolbar) to "layer", not "group".jerkyjake
