I've kind of mentally checked out of politics at the moment. I really dislike Obama, especially his foreign policy. The main conservative criticisms that aren't conspiracy theories (he's a kenyan! a moslem! a commie!) do hold some water. He did promise lots of things during the '08 campaign then did the exact opposite - military policies, government transparency, etc.. He's even out Bushed Bush on lots of things. I generally see the Democrats, on the national level, as 1/2 of the money party - the Republicans being the other 1/2.
That said, the stupidity in the Republican party just irks me. Bush/Cheney was a nightmare, but at least there were some grownups in the room. At least one, maybe two. But between 2008 and this election..I mean McCain/Palin? Really? And now these two clowns...it's just...I don't get it. And even the other clowns that get talked about in hushed tones - Jindal? Christie? Rubio? Makes me actually miss Bush Sr. Heck, these clowns have Nixon looking good.
If Romney/Ryan is the best an entire party that attracts 49% +/- of the American electorate can do..I mean..my god...
