  If you read old threads (04-07) there was a much friendlier tone in general.

  I wonder if this has absolutely anything to do with the redesign?
  Did the jingle automatically cheer everyone up?

  Whenever someone revives an old thread...read from the start, it's cute. There's a happier, more optimistic jib about everyone – it throws you off until you realise it's from the Newstoday era.

  Maybe it's the inevitable rotting of the internet exposing it's sarcastic and cat-filled core

  • yes, the jingle created a sense of joy among the membership, tho there were attempts to de-jingle by the undergroundprophetone
