    @ ahli,
    first let me start by saying that I left belgium in 97', but I had the chance to enjoy the best but also the worst from it. The last time I was there was in 2009 but still have friends that I visit and visit me quite often.

    here's the situation:
    belgium is still a pretty small country (11 million peeps), compared to other european states and when you cram so many people whom have different point of views, it has to fail somewhere.

    I'm not talking about the multiculturalism issue,
    but about the Belgian themselves, Belgium has always suffered of a lack of cohesion between its citizen. You have the language barrier, you have the obligatory regional rules, plus the political game, now if you add immigration, you have the perfect formula for nationalist to feed on. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vla…
    they even had the longest running democraty without "anyone" in power because they couldn't agree on who will govern
