for people and beer: east of kreuzberg is a nice area, full of people lots of bars – if it‘s a nice summer evening, just drift down oranienstraße starting at moritzplatz (with urban gardening project prinzessinnengärten), skalitzer straße, schlesische straße, you have the canal (landwehrkanal) nearby, görlitzer park, the spree, oberbaumbrücke, there are also some clubs in the wider area (on both sides side of the spree, starting with wilde renate in the east, arena club, watergate, berghain, kater holzig (successor of bar 25), tresor, golden gate, ritter butzke. for a sunday afternoon check out the abandoned airport tempelhof, good exhibitions usually at martin gropius bau, hamburger bahnhof, kunstwerke.
