NK would crumble in a real war. Infrastructure is a joke. Sanctions starve a good portion of the population already, war would only increase the burden to feed the troops.Their army is large, but relatively primitive. China may be an ally, but push come to shove China needs the western consumer world and they sure don't need NK.
Does that mean they are not a threat, no, of course not, but I don;t have a true sense of WWIII. Even with China on board, and maybe Russia too, they is massive military might, but at home, still a lot of political and economic instability in those countries, much more so than the US and other western allies.
