other than money and time lines as a motivator how do you remain focused? being on the qoob doesn't help i suppose.

    • I've been working from home for nearly 8 years now and I still haven't figured out how to 'not' get distracted...PonyBoy
    • although... when I work at night... there aren't really that many distractions... it's just the daytime I battlePonyBoy
    • I mean... there's always a floor to sweep... something to scrub... organizing to be done... always an excuse to not workPonyBoy
    • ... golf to be played... mountains to go hike... bikes to go ride... dogs to walk.. yeah - working from home can be unproductivePonyBoy
    • ... and yet so very productivePonyBoy
    • haha i here ya pb, and you're right it's the day time that i struggle with. except i hate the idea of always working at nights.sea_sea
    • night. so hence my problem. the damn ice cream truck goes by, the neighbor trimming the trees, etc etcsea_sea
    • and it all seams to happen right as i start getting into the flow. someone calls or simply i get caught up on the web.sea_sea
    • thanks for the tips though. moldy i was looking at that herb and i think i'm gonna look into it. i like that i read it actually helps with anxiety. i've been struggling with that since my break up and the worst part is i'm a total caffeine junkie. so i've had to cut down on the coffee. i'm drinking mate and that seems to give me that little extra kick i need, without fucking with me as bad.sea_sea
