I remember to do it once so it works, but the downsize is it reduced all subsequent images to percentage and not actual pixel dimensions you input in the dialog. So if you want that all images be 300px wide and they're not all the same dimensions, they wont all be 300px because they will resize in percentage... in your case, I presume you wont resize so it should work..
