  i work on a laptop... carry around data i need...
  i have a ss drive on a server where all current working data is.
  this gets backed-up to a second drive on the server, as well as an external drive (which i should take home with me, or store somewhere else in case of a break in at the office, but i rarely do).

  • 3 drives can't fail at the same time. if the server goes up in flames or get stolen, it's on the external hd...sine
  • which is why i should lock it up somewhere else...sine
