...but if you're reading this forum before watching the movie then it's your own fucking fault. Was hoping to have a decent discussion with the Americans over this one, hopefully won't be derailed.
Certainly a flawed movie. Lots of silly, superfluous BS, plotholes and loose ends all over the show (in a bad way), but you can see what Ridley was trying to do with the core of the story. And there were some interesting bits that has us chatting with randoms on the bus ride all the way home (like the constant reference to Christianity and the fact the Engineers were coming back to destroy us "about 2000 years ago"...)
