go out and eat some good food (jacque imo's, emerils, anywhere really ).. make sure to get some chargrilled oysters from Drago's you will thank me.. maybe wash it down with Abita Purple Haze beer.
go walk down Bourbon street and check out the madness.. get some Absinthe.. walk down Royal street for all the art galleries, Decatur street is also a cool street with many hangable bars (not quite Bourbon St) which leads to Frenchman St where it is hip and happening at night. you really can't go wrong with just walking around the French Quarter all day. walk down the Mississippi river and through the Jackson Square.. check out the street music, performers, and art.. Drink and party on the street! Go out and hear some live music and dance! and go swimming in your hotel because it will be very HOT! New Orleans is a great city! Be safe ;)pick up a Gambit paper for music & stuff
