  So lately I've been wanting to make Carbonara, at the very least a penne pasta with bacon and mushrooms. So I ask a friend if he wants any and he replies with a very disgusted no, and begins talking about how it will taste like hot dogs / pigs in a blanket... I remind him that he's offered me summer sausage cut up in mac & cheese on more than one occasion, to which he replies, well that's because that's good! I explain the part about bacon being better than summer sausage and from the same animal. The conversation ended with me wondering how long I'll be his friend.. weirdo.

  I'm off to the store.
