I've done it many times and that's the way we do it.
I give the different leadings to our exhibit designer and she makes that grid. We [graphics] then establish it for the text box by pasting the text and linking each line of the grid to flow the content. However, although not sure what your intentions are with it, but looking at that sample i'd shorten the line width by more than half :)cheers man!
Curve text is a fucking nightmare and annoying!
