BUMP!
Ok so I think I am dropping the cash on a brand new Canon 17-40mm f/4.0L
I don't have the extra thousand for the 16-35mm 2.8, plus I keep reading reviews about the 17-40 and it's superior picture quality.
I will be traveling to Europe in the Fall so this will be my wide lens. I am hoping my 5DM2 and it's excellent ISO performance will make up for any issues when trying to take wide shots in low light w/out a tripod.
For any nice landscapes I will have my tripod anyway.
any thoughts??
- i bought 17-40 refurb from canon for $650. it's my favorite lens. it came like brand new.lambsy
