    so my new imac is on the way. it comes with a big hd plus a ssd. everyone says install system and an apps on the ssd so they start up faster, but i care the fewest about boot and start up times. so what is to put where to get the best work and render speed results?

    • i find the problem with SSD's for AE work is that I usually spit out massive files, files too big for an SSD (over 128gb)Hombre_Lobo
    • of course you can get bigger SSD's but they cost a chunk. RAID seems to be the best cost effective option.Hombre_Lobo
