    Although its a great cause, it feels like a nike ad and something about the way this guy talks makes me want to vomit in my mouth a little. Its like... good cause = soapbox for spouting righteous diatribe. I don't feel compelled to do this "cover the night" crap because he pours so much of himself into it that it's almost like "his" cause, not Uganda's cause. Whatever. Maybe that's a plightless white cinematographer's journey — adopt a cause to find validation. It feels ingenuine, even though it's about a genuine problem.

    Kony comes off as naughty rebel who needs to be "brought to justice" instead of a feared war criminal, which illustrates just how detached it all is. We went to Uganda. We made friends on camera. We talked about scary things. We came back to the states and edited some footage. Fuck off.
