my web101 teacher told me it was annoying that your background loop drowned out my music.

the site looks ok, concept wise... to me... but a bunch of your bitmap fonts are distorted/blurry, and they should be nice and crisp.
the '01,02' buttons along the upper left, are blurry... the 'liquid gear, etc. text is blurry, and the news all looks a bit blurry. lots of blurry bitmap fonts.
liked the image transitions. very nice.
clean up the fonts and it will look a lot better...
and give the user a way to turn off the sound loop... or better yet get rid of it all together.
