Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between consumerist fetishism and copycat violence.
With influences as diverse as Machiavelli and John Lennon, new insights are manufactured from both traditional and modern structures.
Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the unrelenting divergence of meaning. What starts out as hope soon becomes debased into a tragedy of distress, leaving only a sense of chaos and the unlikelihood of a new reality.
As subtle replicas become frozen through emergent and undefined practice, the viewer is left with an impression of the undefined of our condition.
