End of thread. All the pixel based advantages of Photoshop, all the page, vector and export advantages of Illustrator.
If you need to do any advanced masking or airbrushing you can always do that in photoshop then drag the file straight into FW
Same with if you need the advanced vector tools from Illustrator you can copy+paste that straight into FW.
- Once you get the hang of it the idea of using anything else is ridiculousanimatedgif
- I must admit to getting up to speed with FW for Web, I am getting sick of PH and it's stupid over bloated crap like 3D, WTF!pillhead
- Fireworks is a little clunky just because it's been neglected by Adobe. But it does the job well.animatedgif
- I've had a similar battle here this week. FW is the best web graphics program out of Illi and PS.spot13
