  Just get the torrent, it's not like you don't have the a license for the OS.

  This said, it is the first time I hear about OSX installation stopped because of a hard drive change. Did it specifically say it was the drive or just incompatible hardware?

  • its the standard "mac OS X cannot be installed on this computer" suspect its discs from different machinedee-dubs
  • don't worry, get a torrent, you have a disc and an OS comes licensed with the computer.raf
  • if you insist on paying, get SL upgrade, it was like $30 at the time, it's a better OSraf
