Objet is a brand of 3d printers: http://www.objet.com/
It varies by size, material-some 3d printers allow you to spec different grades of plastics and sometimes even different materials- , complexity, etc. There is a maximum scale(size) and resolution all 3d printers are capable of.
We have a 3D printing source that is local (Southeast MI) for us but have tried some online services. The quality is never as good as you'd like, but for prototyping it's cost-effective and usually serves it's purpose.
