    If you spend time looking at some of the more well known designers and creative directors, many of them have nothing up there except a bunch of kick ass work and an email address. To me that makes them look like they aren't messing around. All the fat has been trimmed away and you're left with a very impressive portfolio and an email address.

    But when you look at less experienced designer sites, they have paragraphs of info about them, links to a bunch of other sites, blogs, and a bunch of stuff that isn't really that important.Just keep it streamlined. If you want to link out to your FB or LinkedIn pages if someone really wants to learn more, that's fine, but personally I would just keep a couple lines about yourself, and trim away anything else that's not serving a real purpose.
