    so here's my setup.

    i had some hardware troubles (i received a defective motherboard which blew out my CPU, had to replace those) which put the project on hold for a while, but once i got the beast up and running installing OS X was a simple thing. my entire build was compatible with kakewalk http://kakewalk.se so i went that direction instead of iboot like i had planned. i bought a hard copy of snow leopard but ended up using a pirated version of lion and installed everything off a thumbdrive.

    right now everything is running smoothly except when i first boot up i have wacom driver problems and sometimes have to reinstall them. graphics look good, haven't tested sound yet.

    • oh yeah, and opted to not overclock as i don't really need itscarabin
    • also there are some builds on that kakewalk site that are pre-vetted and are super cheap to put together. definitely worth checking out if you're at all interested in a new macscarabin
