    RIP indeed. we needed someone like him to question the establishment and kick the church etc. Such an intelligent guy on the one hand.
    But then I don't agree with how he lived his life, and his death from cancer was inevitable given how much he smoked etc.

    Also late in his life he did a pretty big U-turn in his stance on the army/iraq wars etc.
    His brother, Peter Hitchens is a massive twat though who writes for the Daily Mail. Hitch was definitely was a force for good, for independent thought. He will be missed.
