    For type, though, I'd stay away from any sort of blackletter, pseudo-Celtic or quasi-calligraphic fonts. They're all really too clichéd. Same with sans, actually, they were all done in the early noughties.

    An imagemark paired with a discrete, elegant well-spaced serif (basically, just about any from Klim) would go a long way to breathing some interesting new life in the style above.

    • absolutely agree with the fonts issue. i won't use a font, but eventually try to interpret a type style from an old book with authentic fonts, that's what i'm after, rather
