    iPad 2 is slimmer and a little lighter—still too heavy for a tablet imo.
    It has cameras if you need them for video-chatting.

    The 2 is very slightly but noticeably faster, even in web browsing. There are lots of apps that let you play any video file without conversion but some higher-res movies stutter on iPad 1.

    Other than that, they're the same thing. For browser testing the 1 will suffice. I am only upgrading to 2 because I need to have one to regularly take photos of for a sleeve brand I am launching.
