Having been in all 3 I'd say 1 day for Sevilla, 2 days in Madrid (museums) and Barcelona... I could live in Barcelona if I had an external source of income, not being dependent on the local job market.
Search QBN for "barcelona", there were literally tens of threads on it. I recommended Jai-Ca tapas bar in a few of them and people were coming back to QBN saying it was really worth going to—the recommendation stands :)
One thing... When I was at a festival in Barcelona, most bands started with "Hello Spain!" and didn't realize why they were getting booed.
