    Yeah. His idea of "good kerning" in gargantuan is horrendous. Huge spaces between g/a. After another look, I seriously doubt this is the spacing Spiekermann built into Meta. Yvess and They are pretty bad too. It's nearly impossible to achieve nice spacing in They with it tracked out so heavily. Almost all of these examples would have significantly tighter tracking in the real world.

    The fact that users are forced into spacing justified words is part of the problem. Nobody kerns that way.

    It's a game, so who the hell really cares – except for the fact that this is somewhat geared toward developers with an intent to educate. So now they'll pick up bad habits and erroneous ideas about what good kerning looks like and how it's done.
