i recall quite enjoying 'create online' magazine back in the day (about a decade or so ago)
it was the first mag i'd seen that gave web designers the 'rolling stone' treatment....kind of turned our industry into a scene....which for awhile was kind of fun....especially back in the early days... first one i ever picked up actually had a logo inside for a company i did...which was a shock, seeing as how i live in canada, and the mag was out of the UK.....but after that magazine went bust, and Wired became retarded, i started to notice that all the articles i really wanted to read were on sites like Smashing, and ditto goes for tutorials, etc.....
don't think I've bought a magazine now in a few years...and since most of the design mags i enjoyed were always about 20$ a pop, i don't really miss it either ;)
