Its because you have it as an antialiase setting other than 'antialiase for animation' and Flash is snapping the characters to the nearest whole pixels so keep the text clear. Your scaling the text up, so that'll happen with certain fonts.
There's a workaround that I use but it uses timeline animation. I basically switch between a custom antialiase (or antialiase for readability) and antialiase for animation, a frame before or after the text comes to a stop or starts animating. You might be able to recreate that effect using code too.
