The title is really misleading, none of the special effects are believable, and its low-budget, but other than that it is insanely stylish, and was a big enough influence on Alien that some people say Alien is just a rip-off of it!Rainbow Bright and the Star Stealer
I remember this from when I was a kid so I showed it to my daughters, dude... Rainbows, robots, crystals, space, and lazers is all that need be said.
